The HTA MH370 Carbon Fiber Wing Flap Mechanism is a complete Boeing 777 outboard trailing edge flap track and carriage assembly extracted from a decommissioned 777-200ER wing, comprising the full flap track beam structure, carriage roller assembly, flap support arm fittings, flap drive screwjack attachment provision, and all associated structural brackets, representing one of the most mechanically sophisticated structural assemblies in the 777 wing and an exceptional teaching tool for aviation engineering programs covering high-lift device systems and commercial aircraft aeromechanical design. The flap track beam is a multi-spar composite and metal hybrid structure following the wing contour profile at its installation station, with the characteristic curved plan form of the 777 outboard flap track visible in full scale for the first time for most engineering students who have previously seen this component only in drawings or scaled displays. The carriage roller assembly includes its full complement of load rollers and anti-rotation rollers fitted in their track locations, and the complete assembly translates smoothly along the track through the full range of flap deployment travel when manually driven, demonstrating the mechanical advantage and roller-track interface that enables smooth deployment of the massive 777 outboard flap panel under aerodynamic load. Drive screwjack engagement provisions at the carriage drive attachment point are intact and aligned. All structural aluminum surfaces are corrosion treated and the roller bearings are lubricated for long-term storage and handling. Boeing structural flap track reference data, HTA inspection report, decommissioning certification, and photographic documentation package are included. Track beam length: approximately 4.2 m. Assembly weight: approximately 190 kg
