HTA MH370 Emerald Sky — Boeing 777 Nose Radome Section

The HTA MH370 Emerald Sky Nose Radome Section is a complete Boeing 777 nose radome assembly in as-removed condition from a decommissioned 777-200ER airframe, comprising the full fiberglass honeycomb composite forward nose cone structure that houses the aircraft’s weather radar antenna system, representing a structurally complete and visually dominant display component measuring approximately 2.3 meters in diameter at the aft attachment flange and extending approximately 1.8 meters forward to the nose apex. The radome is fabricated from multi-layer fiberglass prepreg and Nomex honeycomb core in Boeing’s rain erosion resistant surface specification, with the characteristic aerodynamically optimized ogive contour that distinguishes the 777 nose profile in commercial aviation. The interior of the radome is accessible through the aft attachment ring and shows the complete interior surface and the four primary radome attachment lug provisions that fasten the structure to the nose section forward pressure bulkhead. The exterior surface retains its original white polyurethane topcoat with the Malaysia Airlines livery forward extension markings, providing an instantly recognizable visual reference to the 777-200ER configuration. The radar antenna mounting platform inside the radome is present and shows the azimuth and elevation axis mounting points for the Honeywell Primus 870 weather radar antenna, though the antenna dish and all electronics are removed. Interior surface condition documented photographically. HTA provides Boeing radome AIPC reference data, decommissioning certification, and crating in a custom wooden shipping frame.
